Easter fun times

So I know that Easter was ages ago now but I’ve had this post in my head ever since….I say that like I’m some sort of post master but really this is my first one. The first of many I hope.

At Easter time my family and I went to a place called Warwick for my granddad’s birthday. It was mostly boring and there were lots of old people there but there were lots of delicious desserts which sort of made up for it.

We were staying at this “country resort” which is a totally huge attraction for tourists who want the “outback experience”. It baffles me really because I’ve been going out to the country since I was little to visit my grandparents and I find it lovely and relaxing for about one day and then I get a little bit bored and need to get back to the city.

Anyway, on the second day we went to one of the resort “attractions” which is called balancing rock. It’s basically these gigantic rocks that have formed all crazily and sit on top of each other. We had to hike (ok not really hike, just walk steadily) up a giant mountain (that's probably an exaggeration too) to find it and I don’t think I was really wearing the correct hiking attire but it was really pretty when we got up the top so it didn't really matter.

It was rainy but still really nice looking.

My brother got up way high and sat between the giant rocks.

Then we found a hut.

Then we left the resort and went to a lovely little antique shop where I found a pretty maroon glomesh looking bag which I bought along with a hat and some sewing patterns which the lady threw in for free! Delightful!

I'm going to start an ebay store soon that stocks all of the lovely vintage delights that i have/are waiting to be found....I just need to get a little bit more organised first and maybe learn a few more sweet technology skills.

I will also blog some of my adventures and things so keep coming back!
