Dressups

I love dressup parties.

They are so much more exciting than regular parties by far.

Last weekend I went to a dressup party. The occasion was that one of my friends was moving out of her house and another one was moving in - a farewalcome party. The theme was famous animals and I decided to go as the rabbit from Alice in Wonderland.

This is what I wore.

The photo was taken in a laneway during our walk to the party. There was a black cat there.
It isn't that good because my camera was crazily making all the photos turn out greenish for some reason. I'm not very good at technology.

I got the dress from a church jumble sale that I go to where everything costs 50c. I love it there. The dress is by Anthea Crawford and would have been so expensive when it was originally bought. It was longer but I cut and hemmed it because I don't really like myself in long things. My mum was horrified when I told her that I cut an Anthea Crawford dress but i figure what's the point of keeping something the way it is if you're not going to wear it.

The shoes are from ebay and the frilly socks are from the kids section at myer. I had been looking for frilly socks for ages and I was considering making a pair when I finally found them. The bag is also from the jumble sale.

I'm wearing a giant mimco fob watch that I borrowed from my friend and the mask is stolen from work (soon to be past workplace) and re-vamped. I work at an event management company so we have all sorts of fun things that we have used on past events. This one is from a masquarade ball that we did a while ago.

This is one that was taken on a crazy new-age polaroid camera. My friend was a little leopard.
