I have just had a lot of blog posts in my head but then I just got so overwhelmed by them all that I just didn't write any at all. So now I will write lots....all in the order of happenings.
Last weekend my friend and I held a stall at the West End markets. The only drawback was that we had to get up at 4am while it was still dark, and because i'm not working at the moment, my sleeping patterns have got all crazy (going to bed late and getting up late) and so I couldn't sleep until about 2am = 2 hours sleep. Other than that it was really fun!
So after waiting around for an hour, disagreements with other stall holders, rearrangement of stall positioning and missing parts of clothes racks.....we finally got set up!
Here is our little stall..............

The idea of the stall was to sell heaps of our old clothes (Sam is moving overseas and I just had a major cleanout). Everything was $5 and most things actually sold! I'm glad all of my things went to a new home where they will be happy and loved.I hadn't done such a big clean out for ages and it was weird seeing all of the things that I use to wear.
These are the sorts of things that I found:
- band t-shirts and ones with swallows on the shoulders (i use to wear them with jeans, now i wear neither)
- jeans (i really never wear jeans anymore, i find them ridiculously uncomfortable)
- polka dot dresses (i had a little emo phase and was obsessed with these)
- hi top converse (they had writing on them with pink eyeliner...hmmmm)
- kitten heels with points (i use to be obsessed with these in all different colours)
- skirts that sit at the hip (basically stick to high waister only now)
- bubble hem dresses
- button up shirt dresses
When I was way younger I also remember wearing overalls, platform sketchers, boardshorts, cargo pants and army print..............yeah I was a really unstylish child.
It's weird how styles change.....maybe one day I'll be throwing out all of my high waisted skirts, little vintage dresses, different coloured tights, ankle boots, glo mesh bags, cute blouses and everything floral..........I hope not though.
